Important Gym Updates (Starting Feb 14)

Keeping Training Safe, Clean, and Consistent

As our gym grows, we’re making small updates to support a safer and more professional training environment.

👕 Level Up Shirts

  • Required during all classes
Keeps classes organized and builds team culture

👟 Shoe Policy

  • Lace-up shoes required
    Clean, dedicated ninja shoes only
Shoes must be changed into at the gym (not worn outside)

  • Why This Matters:
Clean shoes reduce dirt buildup on balance obstacles and the warped wall, helping prevent slips and injuries.

🧽 Cleaning spray and rags will be available for athletes to wipe shoes before training.

    Grace Period

Now through Feb 14, coaches will provide friendly reminders as everyone adjusts.

    Simple Rule Moving Forward:
👉 Wearing your Level Up shirt gives you access to course runs during class.

Is there an age requirement?

Our gym is open to athletes ages 6 and up (seperate youth and Adult Classes). For safety and insurance, we do not currently offer classes for younger children.

Do I need to be in shape to start?

Not at all!
Our gym is built for all fitness levels. Whether you're new to exercise or an experienced athlete, we’ll meet you where you are. Every obstacle can be scaled or modified to suit your ability, and our supportive coaches are here to guide you every step of the way.

👟 What type of shoes should I wear?

Please wear closed-toe, lace-up athletic sneakers with a rubber sole.

🚫 Not allowed:

  • Cleats or spiked shoes

  • Flip flops, zorries, Crocs, or sandals

  • Indoor soccer shoes, hiking shoes, or boots

All birthday party participants and parents NEED to be wearing clean tennis, running, or athletic shoes.  We are a SHOES ON facility.  No crocs, slip-on, sandals, heels, or boots will be allowed.

What age groups do you offer classes for?

We offer structured ninja classes for athletes ages 6 and up, divided by age and skill level:

  • 🟦 Youth Levels 1–6 (Ages 6–15)

Our youth program is split into two training paths:

    • Youth Novice (Levels 1–3) –Ages 6–11
Focuses on foundational skills, safety, and confidence-building through fun and engaging challenges.

    • Youth Advanced (Levels 4–6) – Ages 12–15
Introduces more technical skills, obstacle sequencing, and preparation for competitive events.

    🟥 Teen & Adult Levels 1–5 (Ages 16+)

For beginners to advanced adults (and teens 16+), these classes are built for challenge, progress, and long-term growth.
Each level focuses on strength, endurance, technique, and leadership development — whether you're training recreationally or aiming for competition.

All athletes are placed into the appropriate level after an initial assessment or based on performance in class. Everyone has the opportunity to “level up” through our skills-based progression system.

Do you host birthday parties?

Absolutely! Celebrate with obstacle-based fun in our gym—complete with coach-led activities, team challenges, and equipment use. Contact us to book your date and go over party packages.

What’s included in the Level Up Program?

Our Level Up Program is a structured training system that helps you progress through skill-based levels — just like earning belts in martial arts!

It includes:

  • 🧠 Skill System – Learn core ninja skills and test your progress.

  • 🧗 Level Placement – Train in the right class for your current ability.

  • 🏅 Assessments & Promotions – Regular check-ins to celebrate your growth.

  • 🎯 Motivation & Milestones – Clear goals and fun ways to level up.

It’s the perfect path for athletes who want to build confidence, track progress, and get stronger over time.

What is Open Gym?

This is drop-in time where members can train independently on the obstacles or practice skills. A coach is on-site to assist, but sessions are self-guided.

What should I wear and bring to class?

Wear athletic clothes and lace-up sneakers (closed-toe, non marking shoes required), no crocs, slides, hiking, cleats, steel toe, etc. allowed. Bring lots of water, while we do not have a water refill station, we have bottled water for purchase for your convenience. Outside food can't be consumed on the gym floor.

What’s your cancellation and no-show policy?

Please cancel at least 6 hours before your class to avoid penalties. No-shows or late cancels may result in a fee and a loss of a session.

Do you offer camps or special training sessions?

Yes, we run seasonal camps (like summer camp) and workshops focusing on areas like obstacle technique, strength, and your ninja mindset.

How do I sign up for competitions?

You can register for our competitions, including the Sindalu Ninja Games, directly through our website or in person at the gym.
We host quarterly events and national qualifiers, and members receive priority registration and exclusive discounts.

What happens if someone damages equipment?

Accidents happen! We ask families and members to be responsible and report any issues. Damage caused by misuse may result in repair fees.

Can I bring my own food or celebrate on-site?

Birthday parties, Camps and special events with food must be scheduled in advance.

Otherwise, no food is allowed.  Drinks are allowed, but only in approved areas as we want to keep our obstacles clean and safe for everyone! We ask that all drinks be kept in designated areas.
For safety and hygiene, no food or beverages are allowed in the ninja or weight training zones and to make sure hands are clean before getting back on the obstacles.

Skills Testing (strictly for Gold/Silver members)

Structured monthly evaluations that track progress and prepare athletes for leveling up.
Skills Testing is where ninjas officially demonstrate mastery of required skills for their current level. This ensures safe, consistent development with clear expectations.

Each testing cycle focuses on 5 rotating skills from the athlete’s level. All required skills must be successfully completed during designated Skills Testing days in order to count toward level advancement.

Once all required skills for a level are completed across testing cycles, the athlete becomes eligible for the Level-Up Test.

Important Scheduling Rule
Skills Testing and Level-Up Testing cannot happen on the same day.

  • If an athlete has only one skill left, it must be completed during a scheduled Skills Testing day

  • Once that final skill is passed, the athlete becomes eligible for Level-Up Testing

  • The Level-Up Test is scheduled separately by coaches on a different date during the next cycle.

🔹 Skills Testing is held once per month
🔹 5 skills tested per cycle (skills rotate each month)
🔹 All skills must be passed during Skills Testing days
🔹 Progress tracked in the Member Portal
🔹 Level-Up Tests are separate, scheduled evaluations
